From 12to 17 October 2009 the delegation of “Gazprom geofizika” LLC visited Brazil. The meeting with experts of «Petrobras» became continuation of the bilaterial contacts established on 25th August 2009 during the visit of "Petrobras" delegation to Russia.
The delegation of experts of «Gazprom geofizika» included: First deputy director general - Chief engineer Sergey Vensko, Deputy director general on drilling and well workover Vladislav Vladimirov, Deputy director general on foreign economic activities Oleg Kazantsev and adviser of the General director Igor Kadurin -Doctor of Engineering Science. The Director of the Center of international industrial cooperation UNIDO in Moscow Sergey Korotkov took part in the meeting.

During the negotiations the presentations of «Gazprom geofizika» technologies including well logging, well workover, enhanced recovery, and also technologies of creation seismic geodinamic ranges were made. After presentation the delegation has carried on negotiations with the Deputy chief of Department of geological prospecting and operation of fields of "Petrobras" Zhilberto Karvalo Lima.
"Petrobras" company invited the delegation of «Gazprom geofizika» to visit the sea drill platform located in 300 km. offshore. «Gazprom geofizika»’s specialists had a look at all production cycle of drilling and geophysical works on the sea platform. Everybody noted the high level organisation of works, and also the modern hi-tech equipment used on a platform.

During negotiations the Brazilian experts have shown the big interest to possible cooperation with «Gazprom geofizika» on a wide spectrum of technologies. The analysis of the information received during the visit shows the attraction of Brasil services market.
The Parties have agreed to sign the Memorandum of intentions between companies "Petrobras" and «Gazprom geofizika» based on the results of the negotiations.
