The 7th session of the Permanent Russian-Syrian Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation took place in the framework of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Syria in November in Damascus (Syria).

The Russian part of the Commission was headed by the Communications Minister of Russian Federation I.O. Shegolev, and the Syrian part was headed by the Minister of economy and commerce of SAR Dr. A. H. Lufti. The delegation of “Gazprom geofizika” headed by Deputy General director Vladislav Vladimirov also participated in the session and took part in the work of Oil-and-gas cooperation workgroup.

The parties signed Minutes based on the results of the Commission’s work . In the Minutes the parties marked with satisfaction the aspiration of “ Gazprom geofizika” LLC to develop cooperation with SAR in the area of oil and gas services , including geophysical surveys and downhole operations, well workover and enhanced oil recovery.

The delegation of “Gazprom geofizika” LLC hold bilateral negotiations with subsoil users of Syria in the framework of Intergovernmental Commission.
