1962 In October 1962 as a part of the Moscow geologo-search expedition (MGSE) trust "Souzburgas" Glavgaza of the USSR four geophysical parties for the purpose of carrying out GIS on under construction underground gas storage (UGS) have been created. Shchelkovo UGS it was required to develop essentially new direction for maintenance with as much as possible full geophysical information in geophysics - "GIS-CONTROL".
1969 On the basis of geophysical divisions MGPE and VNIIGAZ trust "Souzgasgeofizika" - Promyslovo-geophysical service of gas branch of the USSR is created. Its problems included performance of all complex GIS on objects Mingazprom of USSR.
1976 Trust " Souzgasgeofizika " structure includes research-and-production branch "Centrgasgeofizika" (Kimry, Tver region). He is engaged in working out and release of the special geophysical equipment, a complex small-sized well devices, lubricator installations for hermetic sealing of a mouth of a chink and information-measuring systems.
1980th On the basis of trust "Souzgasgeofizika" uniform geophysical service Mingazproma of the USSR (since 1985 - All-Union geophysical association «Souzgasgeofizika») is generated. Association has brought the big contribution to development of the largest deposits of the country, among which Urengojsky, Jamburgsky, some sea deposits of Caspian sea, island Sakhalin and Black sea.
1991 Order of State gas concern "Gazprom" from April, 11th, 1991 creates Association of the promyslovo-geophysical enterprises of gas branch of JSC "Gazpromgeofizika" in which structure the enterprises before abolished «Souzgasgeofizika » have been transferred.
1990th JSC " Gazpromgeofizika" completely cover all amounts of works on rendering of geophysical services on gas objects of JSC "Gazprom" in Russia and abroad, conducts monitoring of underground gas storage (UGS) in all territory of Russia, acts as the adviser at organisation UGS in the countries of the former USSR and the far abroad.
1998 As a part of JSC " Gazpromgeofizika " starts to operate with JSC "Kostromageofizika". The division makes seismoprospecting works on objects of JSC "Gazprom", and then and independent subsurface user.
2002 JSC "Gazpromgeofizika" successfully carries out geophysical researches in superdeep wells of the Astrakhan area with abnormal mining-and-geological conditions. Establishes a personal record, having executed researches in a chink depth of 7000 metres
2003 JSC "Gazpromgeofizika" begins working out and introduction of the monitoring system of quality, uniform standards and measurements. The metrology and certification Center (Ramensky, Moscow area) is created.
2004 Volume of carried out geologo-geophysical researches increases in 3 times. The net profit of the company more than in 2 times exceeds an indicator of 2003. About 80 % of this sum it is directed on development of research and development and program realisation diversification geophysical services. On a professional training goes in 6 times more means, than in 2003.
2005 JSC "Gazpromgeofizika" realises variety of foreign projects: provides deliveries
of the equipment of own manufacture to the Baltic States, takes part in works on deposits with non-standard characteristics in Bulgaria.
The company more and more actively works on oil deposits, takes part in supplementary exploration the Vankorsky deposit, opens an industrial site in
Western-Siberian oil and gas provinces (Nefteyugansk).
JSC "Gazpromgeofizika" develops a direction of repair and an intensification of wells.
Following the results of 2005 the company has doubled an indicator of pure actives and by 11 % has increased physical volume of rendered services.
For a year the enterprise has performed works more than in 3000 gas and oil wells.
2006 Company strengthens the positions in the market of Eastern Siberia: industrial branch "Krasnoyarskgeofizika" is opened

of Board A.B.Millera from 22.01.2007) a number of actions for consolidation of geophysical activity on the basis of the new company - «Gazprom geofizika Ltd»,
is spent by being 100 %-s' affiliated society of JSC "Gazprom". Limited Liability Company «Gazprom geofizika» has incorporated all historical experience,
structure and quality of applied technologies and methods, high qualification of the personnel of geophysical branch service of JSC "Gazprom".
The company includes in the list of the services management of the integrated projects (IPM) and successfully realises the first of them by request of
JSC "Gazprom" affiliated company - Open Company "Kubangazprom".
The company strengthens the presence at Kazakhstan and in the market of Eastern Siberia. The branch in key oil and gas extraction region of Kazakhstan -
Actobe, industrial branches in Irkutsk and Tomsk, research-and-production branch in the Orenburg is opened.
