GIS-control studies are characterized by methods and technologies varied in physics, problems being solved and instruments and methods used.
The following problems are solved upon control of deposit development:
– current contact positions;
– reservoir coverage by work or by other production processes;
– current porosity and permeability parameters for investigation of geologic-petrophysical and operational characteristics of the well and productive strata;
– technical condition of well bore and columns;
– hydrodynamic and thermobarodynamic conditions in the bore hole.
GIS-control methods cover complexes of gas-hydrodynamic (GDIS) and hydrocarbon logging (PGI) measurements in the cased well stock. Therefore actually the system of field development well logging control is organized at oil and gas fields.
Geophysical studies for control of field development and underground gas storage operation use the advanced home technological means and computer technologies; they are performed with multi-attribute combined equipment with the use of lubrication and special wellhead equipment making it possible to carry out operations at the pressures of up to 70 MPa at wellhead and in the hydrogen sulfide environment.
